My stay in Tinton falls was short but sweet.

My stay in Tinton falls was short but sweet. The beach was clean and very nice. The area had a lot of places to eat and explore by ourselves or with kids. Do not book at the Tinton Falls Inn. They recently changed owners and are losing reservations. My reservation there was not honored, and I ended up having to book somewhere else in the middle of the night. The desk staff was absolutely no help whatsoever.

Do not stay here! The hotel

Do not stay here! The hotel Is run down, not clean and I probably got bugs just staying there. I had to clean the floors myself. Besides those being gross and dirty they had cracks and broken pieces. Broken chairs, phones, no internet or pool. Gross place. Management still hasn’t called or returned emails.

Don’t do it.. no staff available had to call them while in the lobby because they were too much in the back laughing and chatting.. amenities were poor to say the least. Ice bucket had mold and the sheets look like they were reused from the guest before. Barely any available channels for tv and the coffee pot was disgusting.

My trip was ok with the exception of that when I booked my stay online, I paid one price and when I got there they charged me a higher rate when I got to the hotel. And was told to call booking .com to cancel my trip and reschedule, it with was an inconvenience to us. That was my first stay at the double tree and my last.

The rooms needed to be renovated we had a suite and it smelled moldy. It felt dirty and it smelt dirty. The grounds were well kept but the pool was too small the number of people who occupied the hotel. The dining area was also too small for the number of people were served. There was no place for me to sit so I had coffee standing and didn’t stay for breakfast I would never go back their and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel

I liked everything. I stayed at a place in Tinton falls the night before here with a better review that wasn’t as half nice as this. I seriously cant believe some of the bad reviews. Place was clean and so spacious. Pool looked clean.Breakfast fabulous. Staff especially front desk very friendly. I come down from RI once a summer to this area. I will positively stay here again ( Thus is my second time here)Full refrigerator and stove. Loved it!!!

There was nothing to like considering I arrived at the hotel only to be told my reservation through booking.com was bogus and that not only did they not have my name and reservation in their system, they also did not have any rooms available. I travelled by train from Rochester, NY. I do not drive. My plans got screwed up because of this and I had to book an emergency flight home later that night because I had nowhere to go. Thanks booking.com.

The hotel was newly renovated, that's always nice. I like the proximity to Long Branch. I liked the perseverance of the server, named, Christina. She was excellent and gracious in the face of a lot of pressure. Someone called off on the morning of September 2nd. Christina had to wait tables for breakfast alone and she a great job.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Sonesta is not a luxury hotel, but it is certainly the nicest among the hotels in the area. The beds were clean and comfy. The layout is a bit cramped in some spots, but overall it meets the needs of a place to sleep and shower.

We used only our room and enjoyed it! The beds were really comfortable and the front desk staff was kind and helpful. I do wish we got to use the pool! We would use this hotel again if we go back to the stone pony
